A Prayer For Obedience, Guidance and Godly Strength

Dear Lord,

Please forgive me for my sins and help me walk in obedience to Your word. Let me not spend time with wicked and sinful people, instead, let me have godly counsel. Give me the ability to live in accordance with Your word, with integrity and total submission to You my God.

Let me delight in Your word and meditate on Your law day and night. Help me submit my plans and everything I do to You first. I do not want to do anything without Your guidance and blessing.  Let me acknowledge You first and seek Your will before I make any plans. Give me desires that align with your will and help me overcome sinful and worldly desires. Let me not lay up treasure for myself but be rich towards God.

Give me the strength and confidence to wake up daily and to serve You my Lord. Let me not fear to do what You call me to do because of other people’s opinions. Give me wisdom and help me hear and understand Your instructions clearly. Where I doubt and feel like an imposter, please strengthen me and remind me to focus on Your strength. Let me believe that my strength comes from You and that I can do everything by Your power.

Watch over me and establish my thoughts for me, in Jesus, name, Amen.
